EVENT DESCRIPTION:

This evening is primarily a Hands-On night and will focus on demonstrators who are turning the upcoming President's Challenge - a STOOL ... but, don't forget last month's PC project - a GOBLET.  Since we had to cancel in January we will double-up with the two President's Challenge projects next meeting.  Specifically, 

Ozzie will bring in some of his finished & half-finished stools and maybe you'll see one come together. 

Chris Sisson will show off his themed boxes with threaded lids.

Malcolm Cumming will provide some "Skew" instruction on the Laguna.

Keith Dunham will demonstrate how to repair defects in pen blanks and small things with in-lay material.

and,  Dan MacNeil will be available to help out with your Sharpening needs. Bring in your dull tools and get them tuned up to start that new project.

If YOU are interested in turning something let us know.  It doesn't have to be anything fancy.  Sometimes it's just nice to turn in front of others in a relaxed environment and to answer a few questions from your friends as you turn.   And ... what a great way to practice before you stand up and do a demonstration for the larger group.

This hands-on evening WILL NOT be streamed live in our usual hybrid meeting format.   

All are welcome.  Guests are invited to join an introductory meeting to  see how they like the group, then encouraged to sign up online and become a member of the Guild.
